Data Retention Policy.


Current Licensees 

Activities 
Media and data from tests, tutorials and like objects, collectively known as "activities", will be stored as long as the customer's license is active and in good standing. 

Activity Responses 
Media and data from completed tests, tutorials and like objects, collectively known as "activity responses," will be retained on the live system for a period of six (6) months from the time the activity response is created. After six (6) months, Activity responses will be stored offline for a period of five (5) years from the time the response was created. If you need access to activity responses after six (6) months, but before five (5) years from the time of creation, please contact the Rubrica Testing Help Desk via email at support@rubricatesting.com with the relevant activity response tracking numbers and it will be restored within three (3) business days. 

After five (5) years from the time an activity response is created there is no guarantee that the activity response data will be available in any form. We recommend that customers use one or more of the data export methods to backup any required data. 

Response Rating Data 
All response rating data including all grading, rating, scoring, textual and recorded comments, collectively known as "response rating data", will be accessible from the live system for one (1) year. After one year this data will be stored offline on backup media for a period of five (5) years from the date it was created. If you need access to response rating data after one (1) year but before five (5) years from the time of its creation, please contact the Rubrica Testing Help Desk via email at support@rubricatesting.com O with the relevant assessment tracking numbers and it will be restored within three (3) business days. 

After five (5) years from the time a response rating is created there is no guarantee that the response rating data will be available in any form. We recommend that customers use one or more of the data export methods to backup any required data. 

Termination of License 
Upon termination of a customer's Rubrica Testing contract, media and data from tests and like objects collectively known as "activities" will be stored for at least one (1) day, but no more than one (1) month, after the termination of the customer's hosted license. Activity responses and rating data will be stored for at least one (1) month but not more than one (1) year after the termination of the customer's hosted license. We recommend that customers use one or more of the data export methods to backup any required data.
